Irvington Woods

In a bustling Baltimore City neighborhood, Irvington Woods provides quality, affordable housing and human services to low-income families. Residents work toward improving their quality of life and financial self-sufficiency by participating in on-site employment training and placement, mentoring, and recreational and educational programs.

Volunteers of America Chesapeake purchased this 71-unit complex in February 1997 through HUD’s LIHPRHA program – designed to ensure that HUD properties remain affordable housing for low-income families.
